We are pleased to host Alessandro Calcaterra, an Italian senior men's national team center defender with many great career accomplishments. These accomplishments include a Bronze medal in the 1996 Olympic Games and multiple silver medals in the world championships and the World Cup.
Alessandro competed in the Olympic Games from 1996-2008 where he was the top goal scorer in the 2008 Olympic Games.
In the last 20 years, he has played and coached infamous Italian clubs like Pro Recco and has been running clinics to help youth water polo.
The clinic will be held at Del Norte HS from 6 pm to 8 pm, costing $100 per player.
The clinic portion will be from 6pm to 8pm where all athletes are welcome. Then, from 8pm to 9pm, the 16u/18u will scrimmage - Alessandro will provide commentary you won't want to miss. Everyone else is encouraged to stay and watch the scrimmage. The clinic will cover center and defender, as well as shooting and fundamental techniques.
